Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join our team as a Cheer Coach. As a coach, you will play a pivotal role in leading and mentoring our cheerleading squads, guiding them to achieve their full potential both on and off the field.
Responsibilities
Candidates must demonstrate excellence in teaching and leadership in the following areas:

Develop and implement comprehensive training programs focused on skill development, technique, and choreography for cheerleading routines.

Lead regular practice sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all team members.
​

Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to athletes, helping them to improve their skills and performance.

Choreograph dynamic and engaging cheerleading routines for performances, competitions, and events.
​

Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and camaraderie among team members, promoting a positive team culture.
​

Collaborate with fellow coaches, staff, and parents to coordinate team activities, travel logistics, and fundraising efforts.

Serve as a mentor and role model for athletes, instilling values of discipline, dedication, and respect.
Qualifications
Candidates must be proficient in the following areas:

Cheerleading certifications preferred, or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
​

Strong background in cheerleading techniques, stunts, tumbling, and dance.​
​

Proven ability to work with students of all ages and skill levels.​
​

Strong technology skills for effective instruction and program coordination.​
​

Organizational and time management abilities to maintain smooth studio operations.​​

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to talk and engage with young students.​
​

Enthusiasm, patience, and a genuine love for young people and the performing arts.​
​

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.​
​

First Aid (or willing to obtain) & Criminal Record Check.
Salary & Benefits
Expected Start Date: August / September 2024
Job Type: Full / Part Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday 2:00-9:15pm, possible Saturdays or Sundays TBD
Salary: $25.00-$45.00 (Negotiable based on experience and qualifications)
