Types of Scholarships
Other Opportunities
30% Scholarships
30% scholarships are awarded for families currently receiving some form of social assistance. These scholarships are based on financial need and available funds. Applicants must provide evidence of participation in one of these programs (copy of statement with a 2023/24/25 date printed on it) in order to be eligible.

15% Schoalrships
15% scholarships are available for all other families requiring assistance. These scholarships are based on financial need and available funds. Applicants must provide a copy of their most recent tax return in order to be eligible.

10% Volunteer Supporters Scholarships
Limelight Performing Arts recognises that we would not be where we are today if it were not for all the wonderful families that have supported us along the way. In recognition of this Limelight is now offering a specialty scholarship opportunity for families that commit 50+ volunteer hours throughout the season. Required company volunteer hours do not count towards this 50 hour minimum. The Volunteer Supporters Scholarship has a limited number of openings, so make sure to apply early.
Youth Instructor Scholarships
Youth Assistant Instructors earn credits for their time assisting (classes, events, competitions, trips, and performances), credits are accumulated in a student's Youth Assistant Instructor Account and may be used at anytime towards any Limelight Performing Arts programs. In conjunction, Youth Assistant Instructors receive verified volunteer hours (Perfect for high school student's looking to fulfill graduate volunteer hour requirements).

Interested students should complete the online application form, providing accurate and detailed information about yourself, your artistic commitment, and your financial need. Be sure to showcase your talent and dedication to the performing arts in your application materials. Once your application is submitted, our team will review it carefully.
