Limelight's Youth Instructor Program
The Youth Instructor Program at Limelight Performing Arts is designed to provide aspiring performers with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience needed to cultivate a prosperous lifelong career in the performing arts. This comprehensive program offers hands-on training, mentorship from experienced instructors, and opportunities for professional growth within our dynamic academy environment.

This program empowers committed youth performers to take the next step in their professional and artistic development. Youth Instructors will assist teachers during classes while learning how to teach and lead students effectively. They will also participate in weekly professional development, where they will learn class syllabuses and curriculums, anatomy knowledge, teaching strategies, student and parent communication, and more.

Youth Instructors earn credits for their time assisting (classes, events, competitions, trips, and performances), credits are accumulated in a student's Youth Instructor Account and may be used at anytime towards any Limelight Performing Arts programs. In conjunction, Youth Instructors receive verified volunteer hours (Perfect for high school student's looking to fulfill graduate volunteer hour requirements).

If you are passionate about the arts, love children, and have a desire to make a difference in the performing arts community, we invite you to apply for our Youth Instructor Program.
