No. Please only wear what is specified in your costume list.
Makeup should be applied to enhance facial features and ensure they're visible from the stage. Here's a basic guide for all students:
Foundation: Use a long-lasting, matte foundation that matches your skin tone to even out complexion and provide a smooth base.
Concealer: Apply concealer under the eyes to cover any dark circles and brighten the area.
Powder: Set your makeup with a translucent powder to reduce shine and keep it in place throughout the performance.
Eyeshadow: Use neutral eyeshadows that highlight your eyes. Avoid overly dramatic colors that may appear harsh under stage lighting.
Eyeliner: Apply black or brown eyeliner along the upper lash line to define the eyes and make them appear larger. Girls should also add a small wing.
Mascara: Coat your lashes with waterproof mascara to prevent smudging or running during the performance. Girls should also wear fake strip eyelashes.
Blush: Apply a rosy blush to the apples of your cheeks to add a natural flush of color and enhance your facial contours.
Lipstick: The Company red lipstick should be worn.
Remember to practice your makeup look before the recital to ensure it enhances your features and complements your costume.
Students should not wear everyday undergarments as this creates bunching and can be seen from the audience. Instead dance undergarments should be worn. Nude leotards may be provided depending on the style of performance.
Students should bring with them:

Performers must stay backstage during the duration of the performance, even if they are only in one number. This is to prevent distractions when entering and exiting the theatre, keep backstage operations running smoothly, and ensure the safety of every student.
Parents/Guardians are allowed in their gender's dressing room prior to the start of the performance, to assist their student with getting ready. Once the show begins our teachers and backstage volunteers will assist your student with costumes, hair, and makeup. We encourage all parents/guardians to sit back and enjoy the show.
Only bottled water is permitted backstage, unless otherwise stated. Showcases are short enough students should not have time to snack.
After performances, parents/guardians may greet their students at the stage door/drop off location. Students will only be dismissed in street shoes.
